Conwy Events: Harbour Fairs, Music and a Pirate Weekend

A busy calendar

Conwy, on the north Wales coast, has a programme that spans the season. This page gathers the occasions listed for the town in 2016. As with all archived listings, dates change, so check the organisers’ current information.

Spring and early summer

A Celtic Fair took place at Conwy Harbour from late May to the start of June. In late June a pirate weekend invited visitors to join in entertainment on land and at the harbour.

Music

The 28th edition of the bluegrass festival ran from the end of June to early July, and a week-long Classical Music Festival followed in late July.

Autumn

A honey show in September brought beekeepers and the public together. Visitors could chat about bees and buy honey, candles, polish and soap made from hive products, and there were also plant stalls, home-grown produce and crafts on a bee theme.
